Paula was born in North London. She lived in South Wales from the age of eight, graduated in English from Chichester University and now lives in Dorset.
She chiefly writes mystery fiction. When she’s not murdering people (on paper) she gives talks about the amazing – and sometimes bizarre – achievements of Victorian and Edwardian women.
Paula has been secretly looking for dragons since childhood. It’s surely only a matter of time till she finds one.
